Umesh Chaudhary

My name is Umesh Chaudhary. I am 24 years old. I come from the charming town Sauraha of Chitwan, Nepal. My family background has been marked by financial struggles, as we come from a low economic background. However, my life took a positive turn when I found a ray of hope and support at the Ashna Orphanage.

When I was 8 years old, I became part of the Ashna Child Rehabilitation Home. It was a place where I met other kids who were going through tough times, just like me. We became like a big family, supported by the kind and caring "mothers" at Ashna who loved us deeply. Our mentor, Lila sir, taught us important lessons about life that shaped who we are today and gave us the strength to keep going, no matter what challenges we faced.

The Ashna home played a significant role in providing me with the opportunities to pursue my education. I completed my higher secondary schooling, which was a crucial milestone for me. It fills me with pride to see many other children from Ashna who have excelled in their own lives.

Currently, I am working as an intern employee at Hotel Yak Pvt Ltd. in Pokhara. This opportunity allows me to gain practical experience in the hospitality industry, which aligns with my passion for serving others. The values instilled in me by Ashna home continue to guide me as I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those around me.
