Qualifications Needed

No specific qualifications are required, but understanding Nepalese language and culture is valuable. You should have a passion for working with children, be flexible, patient, hardworking, kind, and compassionate towards the children's circumstances.

Accommodation and Meals

During your volunteer experience at Ashna Home, you will reside with a welcoming and carefully selected host family located nearby. Your accommodation ensures a comfortable and supportive environment where you can rest and recharge after your activities with the children.

You will enjoy three delicious local meals each day:

Breakfast : Typically consists of tea or coffee, bread, and omelet.

Lunch: Includes rice, curry, pulses, and pickles, providing a hearty and nutritious midday meal.

Dinner: Features rice, pulses, curry, and other home-cooked dishes, ensuring a satisfying end to your day.

These meals are thoughtfully prepared to give you a taste of local cuisine while meeting your nutritional needs throughout your stay. The hospitality of your host family and the flavors of traditional meals will further enrich your volunteer experience at Ashna Home.
