Karan Thapa

My name is Karan Thapa, and I am 25 years old. I come from Lamjung, Nepal. When I was young, I faced some difficult times. My mother passed away, and my father got married again, which left me without a stable family. But then something wonderful happened- I found comfort and support at the Ashna Orphanage.

At the orphanage, I met other children who had gone through similar tough situations. We became like a big family, with two caring "mothers" who took care of us as their own. Our mentor, Lila sir, taught us important values that helped us shape our lives.

Thanks to Ashna Orphanage, I had the opportunity to get a good education. I studied hard and finished my higher secondary schooling, which was a big achievement for me. Right now, I work in the hotel and tourism sector, gaining experience and skills. Ashna home taught me the importance of helping others, and I carry that with me in everything I do. It makes me proud to see many other children from Ashna who are doing well in their own lives.

I am forever grateful to the Ashna family for giving me a loving and supportive childhood. Being a part of their mission to help orphaned children is an honor, and I want to give back to the home that has done so much for me.
