Hello, my name is Santosh Kharel and I am a 23-year-old student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Management at Shramik Shanti College in Kathmandu. Despite facing challenges, I have persevered and am currently working as a content writer while continuing my studies.
Growing up, I was fortunate to have been a part of the Ashna Child Home. After losing my father at a young age and facing financial difficulties, I was enrolled in the home at the age of 6. There, I met 24 other children who shared similar backgrounds and we formed a close-knit family. We were taken care of by two loving "mothers" who treated us as their own children, and were guided by a dedicated Lila sir who imparted valuable moral values.
Thanks to the support and resources provided by Ashna, I was able to excel in my studies, scoring 83% in secondary level education. I am proud to say that many of the children who grew up at Asna are now successful in their own right, including myself.
